There is something extraordinary about living with a painting that was created just for you.

It begins with a place: a trail you still think about years later, the mountain that made you feel small in the best possible way, the wildflowers outside your grandmother's cabin, the coastline where everything changed. Some landscapes stay with us long after we've left them, asking to be remembered.

That is where we begin.

You share the place that lives in your heart, along with the stories, colors, and feelings woven into it. I listen, sketch, and paint, translating not only what that landscape looked like, but what it felt like to stand there. The result is an original painting that carries both the spirit of the place and your connection to it.

My work is rooted in Colorado, the American West, our National Parks, and the landscapes I've wandered. But for commissions, the inspiration comes from a place that has become part of your story. I love the collaborative process of uncovering what made that place unforgettable and translating it into a painting you'll live with for years to come.

How it works

01 — We begin with a conversation
You tell me about the place and the space it will live in. I ask questions, share ideas, and we figure out together what the painting needs to be, in terms of size, color, mood, and composition.

02 — Deposit and planning
Once we have a direction, I send a proposal and collect a deposit to hold your place in my schedule. From there I work from photographs, sketches, and the notes from our conversation.

03 — Creation and progress
I share progress along the way and we stay in contact throughout.

04 — Delivery
The finished painting arrives carefully packaged and insured. Commissions typically take 1 to 3 months from deposit to delivery, depending on scope and size.
