This painting is inspired by the Wild Basin area of Rocky Mountain National Park, Calypso Falls. I stood at the edge of this cascade for a long time, watching the water move over the rocks, hearing it, feeling it regulate something in my nervous system the way rushing water does. The deep forest greens, the swirling white and lavender of the water, the fallen logs as anchors of stillness against all that movement. I have hiked to this spot several times. It is one of my favorite places in the world.

Sustainability
Sustainability
Creating responsibly matters to me. I use non-toxic, sustainable paints in all of my original work. No mineral spirits or harmful solvents are used in my studio practice. This protects my health, the health of my collectors, and the environment. Shipping materials are recycled and reused whenever possible.
A portion of annual sales is donated to organizations protecting our national parks, wild places, and local Colorado charities. The landscapes that inspire this work deserve our care in return. The work is made to last, and made to do no harm along the way.
Collector Care
Collector Care
Bringing one of my original paintings home is the beginning of a collector relationship.
I take care of my collectors. That means monthly letters with a look inside the studio, early access to new work, and exclusive giveaways. Sometimes I send out extra gifts or mail a card. There are small surprises along the way.
If you ever have questions about care, installation, or lighting, reach out. I am happy to help. If your painting ever needs attention down the road, contact me directly before doing anything else.
